A fantastic 110th cap performance

“It worked out well. I featured in a national team game for the 110th time on 10/10 and we won three vital points. What else could one wish for,” said Petr. Having beaten both the Netherlands and Turkey, the Czech team has yet to incur a point loss. “We beat two of the strongest opponents, at least on paper, right off the start. Therefore we couldn’t be happier. It was by no means an easy start, but we made it,” stated Petr.
He knew more than well the Czech team’s performance was far from ideal in the first half of the Turkey dual. “We discussed it at half-time and improved in the second half. The first 25 minutes after the interval were a whole different story. We created scoring opportunities and kept pushing, which ultimately resulted into us winning. The ending was a bit hectic but we managed to deal with it,” added Petr.
