"They got into convenient positions due to the fact that we were trying to press forward in an attempt to score a winner. I blocked Suarez because I got to the ball first by a split of a second. As for Enrique's shot, I saw it coming and coped with it accordingly. It was aimed to the near post as well, so there's no way I could have allowed him to score," added Petr.

In spite of having played for the first time after a four games ban, Chelsea's captain John Terry managed to score a header in the 20. minute. Sadly, at the end of the second half Terry injured his knee, and was thus not able to finish the game. "It's a great shame. John was brilliant and we all hope it's nothing serious. Hopefully he'll be back soon," said Petr.

He showed his regrets regarding Chelsea's plunge to the third place. The Blues are currently losing three points on leading Manchester United and one point on City. "There are still lots of games ahead of us, but it was wasteful of us to let our opponents take the lead this easily. This was a game we should have won."
