“Another clean sheet and mainly three points certainly made me happy,” said Petr after the match. Blues took the lead after Oscar’s goal right in the 1st minute. “Our opponent made a major mistake right off the start and we managed to use that to our advantage, which sort of defined the entire game. We went on to add a second goal and from then on all we had to do was stay focused and not let Swansea get back into the game,” Petr stated. “That didn’t happen and we kept everything under control.”
By the end of the first half Chelsea was already in a 4-0 lead, after Oscar and Costa had scored two goals each. Substituting Schürrle was the one to add the fifth one in the second half. “We could have scored even more but it’s a great result anyway,” added Petr.
