Audi and Petr Cech Sign Sponsorship Contract

Petr has been voted the best goalkeeper in the Champions League three times in his career, and has been cited as the World’s Best Goalkeeper by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics. The Czech player can also lay claim to two Golden Gloves awards for the 2004/05 and 2009/10 Premier League seasons, and has been instrumental in three Premier League title wins and four FA Cup victories.
Chelsea Football Club owns the image rights for Cech alongside other first team players. The club brokered the deal between Chelsea's number one goalkeeper and the German car maker as it continues to associate its players with the strongest global brands. Director of Audi UK, Martin Sander, said: “Petr Cech is an exceptionally talented player with a string of achievements to his name which bear testament to his absolute focus and total determination to succeed. His philosophy and passion have taken him to the top of his game, so his values are clearly very much in tune with ours - we are delighted to be working with such an inspirational sportsman.”
