Better than nothing

  „One point is better than nothing, but that doesn’t change the fact that we should have won and put the advantage of playing at home to good use. It’s a wasteful loss, and our opponent put up quite the fight. They’ve been generally very successful when playing against stronger teams. They beat Manchester United, and drew with Arsenal and us, as well,” said Petr.
Chelsea took the lead thanks to Eto’o towards the end of the first half. „There was no indication whatsoever as to to the fact that we were losing control. After the interval, however, we conceded a silly goal. After that some of us, me included, made a couple of mistakes which enabled them to get in the lead. I failed to react quickly enough; my foot got stuck in a hole and I conceded an unnecessary goal,” admitted Petr.
The Blues then went on to concentrate on the offensive and eventually managed to equalise. „We pushed as hard as we could, they were definitely under a lot of pressure towards the end. In the end we got a penalty kick out of it. Eden made sure to make it count,“ added Petr who is to leave for Prague Monday to join the Czech national team for a friendly match with Canada.
