Champions League draw: Arsenal will get to face Bayern

„Bayern is by all means the top seed of the group. It’s a team with only the highest of ambitions in each season of the Champions League. There’s bound to be a lot of tough but intriguing games,“ said Petr.

Petr last encountered Bayern in the UEFA Super Cup in Prague two years ago while he was still playing for Chelsea. The German club ended up seizing the win after a penalty shoot-out. „Bayern’s changed a bit since then, the line-up is different but the team is overall still incredibly powerful,“ added Petr.

„Olympiakos poses a bit of a traditional opponent for Arsenal; in the Champions League they’ve played against them four times in the past four years. Dinamo Zagreb is the representative of a country defined by football and managed to qualify into the group, so they must be reckoned with. They’ll have nothing to lose and such opponents tend to be tricky to deal with,“ Petr admitted. „Overall I think the group is manageable and our only goal is to qualify further,“ Petr commented on the Gunners’ ambitions.
