Chelsea to lose at Tottenham

Chelsea stay four points behind Manchester United who dropped three points at Fulham on Saturday, but the Red Devils have one game more to play yet.

"We missed the great opportunity to close the gap," regretted PETR CECH after the match against Spurs. "There is no excuse. Our display was not good, we were too slow and 60 minutes we could not get into the game.

"Then we had some good chances but Tottenham keeper Gomes prevented us from scoring everytime," added the Czech goalie who made several brilliant saves to deny Robbie Keane in the first half.

Petr and most of his mates are going to spend next ten days in the national teams. After the break, Chelsea are to play another tough game at Newcastle.
