Children met for the fourth time at Football Academy of Petr Čech

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Four years ago the author of the primary idea was Petr Čech with his representing agency Sport Invest. The first year took place in summer, 2006, one year later the participation was double already and the project was extended by the autumn module. “For the children the football school of Petr means sensefully spent week of holidays, they will take with them not only a lot of valuable experience and new knowledge, and also nice memories and unique experience of the meeting with the representation goalkeeper. Every year, after the end of the School we receive thankful letters from the parents of enthusiastic children that we and Petr are pleased by a lot,” one of the organizers of the project from the agency Sport Invest says. 

The football players, boys and girls of the age between 6 to 15 of different performance standards with goalkeeper of player orientation train in an intensive manner for the time of one week under the guidance of professionals from Prague Sparta. For the year of the two seven days tours about eighty children come not only from the Czech Republic, but also from Slovakia, Germany, England or the USA. On the beginning the participants will receive football equipment of Adidas brand, cosmetic packets and other gifts from the partners of the project that include traditionally already, apart from others, Česká spořitelna, Samsung or EA Sports. From the field of the media this year is supported by a new radio partner which is the all-state radio Impuls the listeners of which have the possibility to win interesting prizes in the competition at the Internet and also in the broadcasting relating exactly to the Football School. Every summer the participants of both tours spend one day with Petr Čech that consists of joint training, discussion, autographing, taking photos and accompanying activities. Also the winners of the football E.ON ČR Junior Cup 2009 won the participation in this year's school.

In 2007 the Football School was extended by the autumn training module. For the period of October holidays fifty children to the sports area in Písek with a professional team of coaches and organizers where again rich condition programme with rehabilitations and other supplementary activities is ensured for them. The term does not allow personal participation of Petr Čech, but because the agency of Petr Sport Invest represents a whole number of other personalities not only from the world of football, every year it will ensure the participation of a significant guest also for that term. E.g., at the first autumn run Martin Fenin came among the children, at that time the fresh World Vice-Champion in the category to 20 years, representative and today already the player of the German club Eintracht Frankfurt.

In the course of the whole year communication is maintained with the participants and their parents, the development continues of long-term cooperation with the children for the purpose of observance of individual condition growth of each of them. Although the Football School of Petr Čech has had three years only, during the short time of its existence it managed to win a lot of supporters. At the one hand, the companies of Sport Invest group and also all partners and suppliers are behind the ensuring of the high standard of the whole project .

"My son participated this year in the Football School of Petr Čech. He has not returned from any event so excited and satisfied as from this one. He evaluated very positively not only the sports aspect, but also the social and organizational aspects. Meetings with coaches, players and football officials left deep impression in him. The same did the accompanying programme, such as debates, visit to the stadium at Letná, aquapark, etc… Of course, dominating that all is the personal meeting with the goalkeeper model Petr Čech. The children spent the most beautiful part of the holidays and for many of them their dream came true,” one of the fathers sent his thanks to us.

TRAININGS

Three training units a day are in the programme. Their content is consulted with Petr Čech and planned in advance carefully. This year even the exclusive guest, Christophe Lollichon engaged personally, goalkeepers' coach from the English Chelsea FC who was an immense contribution, motivation and shift for the children.
The first week is intended for elder and more advanced children, while participating in the second one are mostly younger and beginning players. Despite this predetermination, immediately on the first day the coaches divide the participants into small groups according to the age and playing standard so that the trainings might have the highest possible effect.
 
Each tour is ended by the tournament of teams the winners of which are awarded on final assessment. Apart from the winners also the best players and goalkeepers in the individual age categories receive gifts from the partners of the project.

REHABILITATION ACTIVITIES AND SUPPLEMENTARY PROGRAMME

At the conclusion of each training day correct regeneration of the body is inevitably necessary. So, the young football players will try themselves the professional form of preparation of adult players. Regeneration consists of massages, stretching, rehabilitation on gym-balls under the guidance of condition coach Petr Brabec who is in Sport Invest in charge of football players, ice-hockey players and some individual sportsmen of the group Sport Invest. His condition wards include, e.g., the football player Radoslav Kováč, ice-hockey player Karel Pilař or ten times Champion of the republic in squash Jan Koukal. Because the knowledge of foreign languages is very important for future football players, every day the children spend one hour after dinner with a lecturer of English. For the children to have a rest for a moment, physically, and psychically, from the nourishing trainings, also a trip to the aquapark in Kladno is included to the programme.

MEALS AND DRINKING REGIME
               
During the Football School meals prepared by a professional are ensured, suitable for the performance load of the children and the youth. Healthy breakfasts, dinners and suppers are completed, moreover, with müsli bars Nutrend, milk products Müller and fruit. A matter of course is regular and sufficient drinking regime, this year it is ensured prevailingly by the producer of water for infants Horský pramen.
