In bid to secure advancement

“We’re looking to secure advancement now rather than wait till the last round. That’s our only goal,” said Petr. Basel managed to take Chelsea by surprise by winning 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. “They did well in London, everything seemed to go their way. It was a bit of a wasteful loss for us and it evoked general disappointment. We did make sure we made a comeback soon, though; we won the following three games.”
Petr hopes the team will be able to rectify their mistakes from the last leg this time. “We’d hate to make our lives harder, especially considering the fact that we’ve got the opportunity to get advancement dealt with prior to the last round. I do hope we get to leave the battle early, without having to fight for participation in the next phase any further,” added Petr.
