Nutrition is extremely important for all athletes. Chelsea are fully aware of this, which is why there is always a cook travelling with us to every single game. He then either prepares the food himself, or makes sure we get everything we're supposed to.
Outside of games and training camps, though, we don't have a prescribed diet. We all eat whatever we feel like or whatever we are used to. At the beginning of, and during the season every player has to undergo a body fat test. If you turn out to have an extra couple of percent of it, they will adjust your diet accordingly, but otherwise not.
