Now is not the time to focus on the Donetsk game

Petr and his teammates may either experience great joy or sadness tonight. Nevertheless, his team still has a chance of advancement into the eighth final, although they might have to leave the championship just as well.

  The Blues have to beat Nordsjaelland in the last match of the group and hope that Juventus subsequently loses with Donetsk. "It is paramount that we don't focus on the second game too much. Our own game should be our top priority at the moment and we need to deal with the circumstances we've got ourselves into. The only thing left to do is win and see what transpires in Donetsk. Luck will either be on our side, or on theirs," said Petr. "The first move is up to us. It would be a mistake to overthink the consequences and not win."
Petr admitted that relying on another team's help is always deceptive. "Everything's possible in football, but so far we've never gotten this kind of help from a different team. Let's keep it realistic, the chance is faint. Shakhtar only needs one point for the top spot in the group and so does Juventus to secure advancement. A draw would suffice for both teams, but there's no point speculating. Shakhtar could definitely win at home, they have it in them," added Petr.
