"I'm glad I could contribute to the win by two important saves," said Petr who had averted two clear scoring opportunities by ex-Blues player Lukaku. "Both of the saves were quite tricky. Before the second one I spotted Romelu run for the cross and knew I had to get over to the other side," Petr described.

He was commended by Mourinho for his performance. "He touched the ball twice, he was a spectator, but in the first half if was a very good save and in the second half a super save. That's what we need. Petr has been working really well and hard. In every training session I was getting the feeling his condition was magnificent.
