There’s still a chance
Chelsea beat Swansea 1-0 in the 34th round of the Premier League thanks to Demba Ba’s yet another crucial goal.
“It was an important win against a tough opponent who played really well up until the booking,” said Petr.
The home team was forced to continue with ten players only after Chico got sent off in the 16th minute. “Ironically that made things even more difficult for us because they sealed up their defence and only focused on the breakaways that they’re so good at. In the end it was Demba who broke through and our gameplay improved significantly afterwards. Sadly none of our goal opportunities really worked out,” admitted Petr who once again made sure he had the team’s back on numerous occasions.
The Blues now remain two points behind Liverpool who beat Manchester City. “There are four rounds left and nothing’s over yet. We’re going to try and keep going as long as we can. Then we’ll see where we end up.”
