Up to second after 2-0 win over Boro

Chelsea earned important three points after 2-0 home victory over Middlesbrough. PETR CECH has kept the first clean sheet since the Boxing Day win against WBA.

The man of the match was undoubtedly Salomon Kalou who scored twice in the second half. The opener was a volley on 58 minutes, the second goal came when Kalou headed in Lamprad's corner kick with ten minutes to go. Boro showed nothing but defensive in the match and was no threat to Big Pete.

Blues moved up to the second position in the Premier League, remaining two points behind Manchester United.
