Watch out for Basel

"I knew we'd get them. They might be weaker than Fenerbahce or Benfica on paper but I definitely wouldn't underestimate them. They have a lot of experience, they beat clubs like Manchester United or Bayern in last year's Champions League. They're Switzerland's number one and they take part in Cups every almost every year," said Petr. "They score quite a lot both at home and away, we're going to have to watch out. That obviously doesn't mean we're renouncing our role as the match favourite, though. Out only goal is to win the Europa League."
Chelsea never encountered Basel in the Champions League. "We felt pretty good about the draw, we found out we'd be playing them after training. There wasn't a lot to choose from. We're going to have to play really well to advance, Basel have recently beaten Tottenham away. Last year they even scored three goals at Old Trafford against Manchester United. Therefore we don't expect this to be easy."
