Win over City in Last Pre-Season Game

Having been losing 0–1 during the first half, Arsenal managed to score an impressive three goals after the interval, whereas the Citizens were merely able to add a closing goal towards the end of the game.

“The best way to finish off the pre-season preparation is a win over a quality opponent, so we’re all quite happy. We played really well and particularly at the beginning of the game it could have been us to score the first goal. Unfortunately City beat us to it, so we were forced to overturn the score. But we managed, so that’s yet another positive,” said Petr.

The Gunners are to enter into the new Premier League season on Sunday, 14 August in a home match with Liverpool. “Personally I’m really excited for it all to start again,” added Petr.
